FAR Bending Spring for Multilayer Pipes – Internal or External
FAR Bending Spring for Multilayer Pipes
The FAR bending spring is designed for manually forming bends in multilayer pipes. It supports the pipe at the bending point and helps maintain its cross-section during shaping.
Internal and external versions
The internal bending spring is inserted into the pipe to provide support from inside. The external bending spring slides over the pipe to provide support from outside.
Available variants
- 5015_26: internal bending spring for Ø 26 mm multilayer pipes.
- 5016_18: external bending spring for Ø 18 mm multilayer pipes.
- 5016_26: external bending spring for Ø 26 mm multilayer pipes.
Selection and use
Select the type and size to suit your pipe. The stated size refers to the diameter of the pipe the spring is intended for, not the spring diameter. For the internal version, also check suitability for the pipe's internal diameter and wall thickness.
Bend the pipe gradually and observe the minimum bending radius specified by the pipe manufacturer. After bending, remove the spring and check that the pipe is not kinked or damaged.
The photograph is illustrative. The spring's appearance and dimensions may vary depending on the selected variant. The price and supply refer to one spring of the selected variant.
