Hansgrohe O-ring seals are intended for servicing and maintaining various sanitary faucets, showers, thermostats and other Hansgrohe products.
The product is available in several variants with different part numbers and seal dimensions. Select the appropriate variant before ordering.
How are the dimensions specified?
The O-ring size is stated in the following format:
internal diameter × cross-section diameter or seal thickness
For example, a size of 20 × 1.5 mm means:
- seal internal diameter: 20 mm,
- cross-section diameter or seal thickness: 1.5 mm.
Material
The O-ring seals are manufactured from a flexible sealing material – an elastomer or technical rubber. The exact material type and composition may vary depending on the part number and intended application of each seal.
EPDM is commonly used for seals in contact with water, but Hansgrohe does not publicly specify the material for every part number. Therefore, an individual variant should not be described specifically as EPDM or NBR without an official technical specification.

Selecting the correct seal
Before ordering, check the spare-part number in the Hansgrohe product's service drawing. If the part number is unknown, carefully measure the internal diameter and thickness of the existing seal.
Please note that an old seal may have stretched, compressed, hardened or otherwise deformed during use. For reliable identification, the Hansgrohe part number takes priority over measurements taken from a worn seal.
